The holidays have been crazy. We went to my parents for Christmas in Birmingham and I have been so busy I am just now catching up on stuff. Here are some of my rocks I did for Christmas presents so I can put them up now.

This is the Christmas card I made for this year it is a watercolor I did 5 x7 and placed in Photoshop and added the writing and in illustrator, I made the holly.



The picture I sent last year was of my cats with Santa hats on. Photoshop.

We were broke into last night. I was in bed reading, Will was on the computer, and I thought I heard a noise on the front porch. It is to early for Santa. Of course, I sent my brave husband to see what it was. He came back and said to get up quick and come see. Could it have been Santa early!!!!!! Nooooo it was not even tiny reindeer but two little masked bandits. They are cute but I would rather see them out in the yard not on my front porch.
They let us take a picture or two and then decided to leave after they hissed or growled or whatever raccoons do when they are not happy.

Oil Pastel

Eye of the Cheeta 3 x 8 oil pastel experiment
Tried something new. I have found a site where this person does animals and landscapes in oil pastel. Well I just happen to have a 20 or so year old set of oil pastels that I had forgot about and never used because I really did not know how. Got to love the internet you can find out about anything I do not have the burnishing tools but that may come later. Found out that watercolor or pastel paper is better.(orignally I had just used drawing paper and was disapointed in results) My first attempt is here on pastel paper. I am trying to decide on using the turp. on it or not.
