My sister has a thing for fairies and the other day I came across a picture she sent me of her in a Halloween costume and thought I would use it for a fairy picture of her.

Been working with the watercolors the past few days. It has been so hot that my acrylic paint seems to dry out to fast. Here is one of an old truck 5 x 8 inches

The Cabin

My friend Jason had someone who wanted a watercolor of their hunting camp so he asked if I would like to do it.
It’s somewhat hard to do a piece and not know what they will like so I gave them three choices. This was also good for me as I have not worked on a water color of this size (16 x 20) The most I have done are small around 8 x 10,

Ok I am guilty. I was watching Martha Stewart and she had these women on who took her idea of potato stamping on children’s t-shirts and sell them on the net. They were so cute and of course, I said to self you could do that.
I had hubby pick up a pack of T-shirts. and onesies and a few bottles of fabric paint to give it a try.
I have to admit the potatoes can get a little slippery and they are not as easy to cut, as one would think. I used toothpicks to hold them.
My favorite is the watermelon and the bluebird.
