Marigolds in the bottle 4x6 oil

Hello everyone its been a while since I have posted but the muse has been on vacation and the computer has been down.

I also must confess that hubby reloaded my genealogy program that I have not been to look at for about a year or more and if any one knows you can get lost in looking up information.

This is a quick little study with some marigolds and an empty vanilla bottle. I kind of like the reflected light in the shadow. I have a fellow artist friend Jason that did a beautiful painting with a large bottle with a red orange reflection.

Hey, am having to catch up with everyone.

Was out due to the State Horse Show and a little accident.

Luv the picture. You should meet Ms. Melba. She's one of my horse show buddies and a great artist too!

Very simple and pretty. I like it a lot. I remember the painting by Jason that you are talking about. I wish I could buy it from him, and hang in in my living room in place of the spooky, phallic, grateful dead 'shroom craziness that is hanging there now.
