Birds in the back yard

Cedar Waxwings
Prothonotary Warbler

Orchard Oriole
Male Summer Tanager
Female Summer Tanager
rose breasted grosbeak
Blue Grosbeak
I have been doing a lot of bird watching this spring mainly because it has been so nice outside and our mulberry tree has attracted so many birds I have not seen before. Alas most of the berrys are gone and a few birds were only here for a few days. Here are some pictures. May be a painting in my future of one.

Wow! These are some great photos! I don't have the right camera to do this. What great material you have to paint some wonderful painting!

Thanks Nancy but to be honest these are some of the best of lord knows how many I took. Thank goodnes for a digital camera. When I think of all the money I wasted with film development I could have a new car. I have boxes of old prints I used for refrence for years.

G, these are some great photos! I love the picture of the yellow bird but, of course, my favorite is the blue one. I've been out with my new camera today but I'm gonna have to admit that it will take some getting used to.
