New tube of paint

I got my new art supplies in this week and now have no excuse not to get cracking. My favorite easel lost a piece in the move 4 years ago and I have not been able to use it and I just do not like the french easel I have. Even the easels at school had a tray like for the bottom of your painting to rest on. This easel does not. I could not stand that tray. Don't ask me why but it bugged me that I got paint all over the tray, or you had to move the painting around. Any way I now have the one I want.

I also have been wanting a tube of Indian yellow so I finally got it.

Can anyone explain how one can be a messy housekeeper and so anal about ones paints?

I love looking at all the beautiful colors of paint and seem to get hypnotized by them and can't move. I don't want to mess them up. Is that weird or what. When I was a kid and I got this beautiful box of 72 different crayons I guarded that box like it was fort Knox. I did not want any one to use it they might break heaven forbid a crayon. They could use my other stuff but not my art supplies. I guess I was afraid I would not get anymore. Any way.... back to the painting

Well you figure out that you can explain why my husband can find the smallest tool in a huge mechanics box and can't see something the size of a toaster sitting in front of him.......

Glad you got the easel you wanted and the paint. Can't wait to see what you are going to paing!

Hi Ramona
Will and I would loose our heads if not crewed on. We don't know what happed to us it seems when we moved in this house it became a black hole.... we can never find any thing! He was looking all over the house for the glue gun and it was supposed to be in my craft drawer but noooooooo he found it in the kitchen of all places and I know thats not where I left it.

Lol! I am a very sloppy housekeeper too but no one touches my art supplies!

Its important to have an easel that you are comfortable with. Mine is an old friend. I would miss it if I had to replace it, even with a modern expensive one.

Lol, Ramona. I think men are all alike!

Hello Keri just drop by anytime. I have not been painting as much lately as it has been so hot and the cats have been in the house more and I can not put them out on the porch.
