Drawings

Above is a drawing of a camp site from a photo I took at a reenactment a few years ago. I have not seen one around here in a while. Have they stoped doing them?
I have been busy working for some new stuff to bring to Peterson's. But I have to get it scanned in the computer and I confess that is something I put off sometimes.
I have found some new blogs that I like and I have picked up a few tips.
One is to have good drawing skills. I have always drawn but I need to get back to it more in a daily workout.
So many things I need to do on a daily basis. Spring has sprung and yard work has been moved up by a month. We had to cut grass this weekend and I cut back some bushes. We have a lot more to do in the yard hope to get to it this coming weekend.
Visions of tomatoes are running threw my head. We have some seeds from Province Acers and will start the seeds this weekend. Yea we hope to have fresh homegrown tomatoes this year last year was a bust for us but a lot of people had bad luck down here. The heat came on so fast and strong we hope to get ours out sooner this year.

The Scout

I have been asked to be the artist for the month at Peterson's Art & Antiques (at 1400 Washington Street in Vicksburg, Ms 39180. ) The 8th of July from 5 to 7. So if anyone is in the area please come by. I have not decided on what I am going to do while there but it will most likely be a pencil drawing as it is a small space to be having oil paint. She has so much cute stuff in the store and I am so messy I would be afraid I'd get paint on one of her antiques. We will be showing my pencil work of the reenactments I took pictures of a while back. Here is one that will be there. like the ones in the previous post.
